Fiber technology
In response to market demand for enhanced fiber content in foods, MGP Ingredients Inc. (MGPI) provides Fibersym® RW and FiberRite® RW resistant wheat starches. These innovative ingredients have low glycemic impact, improved dietary fiber — 85 percent for Fibersym RW and 75 percent for FiberRite RW — and enhanced process stability. Both ingredients have shown to be effective in lowering glycemic and insulin responses. Fibersym RW and FiberRite RW help provide health benefits to consumers without altering flavor, texture or appearance across a wider range of products than traditional fiber.
