Nature's Path Foods, Blaine, Wash., added Cherry Chocolate Stripes
™ to its line of toaster pastries. These certified organic pastries feature fruit and chocolate filling in a chocolate pastry crust, and reportedly contain less sodium and fat than the leading brands of toaster pastries.The natural and organic line at Amy's Kitchen, Petaluma, Calif., now includes lemon poppy seed, chocolate and orange cakes. The lemon poppy seed cake has a delicate lemon flavor, enhanced by poppy seeds sprinkled throughout. Amy's orange cake is moist, light and made with the sweet taste of orange. The chocolate cake is light and rich in chocolate flavor. Amy's products contain 0 g trans fat, no added MSG, no preservatives, and no GMOs or bioengineered ingredients.
Back to Nature Foods Co., Madison, Wisc., added two new cookie varieties — fudge mint and fudge striped to its line of wholesome, natural cookies. The cookies contain no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors; no high fructose corn syrup; no hydrogenated oils and 0 g trans fat.
Full of Life Flatbread Pizza, Los Alamos, Calif., introduced six new flatbreads to its line of certified organic frozen pizzas. Varieties include margherita pizza with mozzarella di bufala and pesto; olive and feta cheese pizza with cornmeal crust and tomatoes; mushroom pizza with caramelized onions and tomatoes; cheese and fresh herb pizza; flax seed and pistachio pizza with red onions and rosemary; and tomato sauce pizza with three cheeses. All pizzas are made with locally sourced ingredients.
