Obituary
Jerome Girardot, 32, executive pastry chef, Ritz Carlton, Washington, D.C. died on Feb. 23. Mr. Girardot's career began in southern France where he trained in Aix-en-Provence. He spent two years as first cook and assistant pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas; and later became a pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. He had been a pastry chef at The Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. since 2003.
